At this year’s two sessions of Shanxi Province, the Government Work Report clearly put forward the initiative to “vigorously develop the cultural and tourism industry”, activate intangible cultural heritage resources, strengthen the empowerment of science, technology, digitalization and intelligence, and accelerate the construction of a highland for the in-depth integrated development of culture and tourism.

CPPCC members from Hong Kong and Macao attending the meeting, based on Shanxi’s cultural and tourism resource endowments, combined with the platform advantages and international perspectives of Hong Kong and Macao, offered suggestions on the cultural and tourism field, injecting the wisdom of Hong Kong and Macao into the high-quality development of Shanxi’s cultural and tourism industry and uniting the striving forces.
